Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gunni API, website at gunni.ai, CLI tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Gunni ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Gunni provides a unified API for AI media generation, including image generation, image editing, video creation, text-to-speech, and related capabilities. The Service is accessed via API keys issued to authenticated accounts.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Credits and Payments

The Service uses a credit-based billing system. You purchase credits in packs and spend them on API operations. Each operation type has a defined credit cost, listed on our pricing page.

• Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except as required by applicable law.
• Credits do not expire.
• New accounts receive a one-time grant of free credits. Free credits are subject to the same terms as purchased credits.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing and credit costs. Changes will be posted to our pricing page and will apply to credits spent after the change takes effect. Existing credit balances are not affected by price changes.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that depicts minors in sexual or exploitative contexts.
• Generate content intended to harass, threaten, or intimidate specific individuals.
• Create deepfakes or deceptive media intended to mislead the public or impersonate real people without their consent.
• Generate content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract model weights, or circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Resell API access or credits to third parties without our written permission.
• Use automated systems to abuse free credit grants (e.g., creating multiple accounts to accumulate free credits).

We may suspend or terminate your account if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these restrictions.

5. Generated Content

You retain ownership of the prompts and inputs you provide to the Service. Subject to these Terms, you own the outputs generated by the Service using your inputs, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You are solely responsible for how you use generated content. We do not review or endorse generated outputs and are not liable for any claims arising from your use of them.

We do not use your inputs or outputs to train AI models. We may retain inputs and outputs temporarily for operational purposes (e.g., delivering results, debugging errors) and delete them within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Models and Providers

The Service routes requests to third-party AI model providers. These providers may have their own terms and acceptable use policies. We select providers based on quality and reliability, but we do not guarantee the availability of any specific model. We may change the underlying model for a given operation at any time to improve quality or reliability.

7. API Keys and Security

API keys grant access to your account and credit balance. Treat them as passwords. We display API key values only once at creation. If a key is compromised, revoke it immediately through your dashboard. We are not responsible for unauthorized usage resulting from compromised keys.

8. Availability and SLA

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee any specific uptime. The Service is provided "as is." We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gunni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time through your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked and your remaining credit balance will be forfeited, except as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
